Prints - Swinley Forest

The Swinley Forest on the Surrey/Berkshire border is a place I have been walking in since I was a teenager.  I am fascinated by the multiple uses the forest has and how we experience it.  The forest is owned by the Crown Estate and is part of the wider Windsor Estate which includes Windsor Great Park.  It is managed for timber production, used by the military where it borders Sandhurst Military Academy, has multiple SSSI and SPA designations, has an area of ancient forest, is home to nationally rare species and has areas managed for conservation as well as being a popular mountain biking and walking destination and is regularly used as a location for major film and TV productions (James Bond No Time to Die was my favourite to date!).
