Part of a series inspired by standing on the highest dune, right above the beach at Winterton-on-Sea looking back over the land, then turning towards the sea.  Looking at this unusual and special landscape is always wonderful with the constant waves as the soundtrack.
 
Thoughts of impermanence, flux and constant change in the landscape alongside the permanence of historic habitats and the species who depend upon it stretching back through time are juxtaposed in these works.  This is a landscape is a place that very much feels like it belongs to itself first.
