This print, alongside 'Logpiles' charts my early experiments addressing what it means to walk in a forest managed for timber and experience the loss of huge areas of trees.  These are replanted and make wonderful habitats for rare ground nesting birds so cannot be looked upon as 'bad' but the reality of the felling and the immediate aftermath can be shocking to witness.  
 
This print is made up of three plates using engraving and lithographic printmaking techniques.  I plan to remake at least one of the plates before this image is complete hance why these prints are being sold as seconds - this is not the final image.
