Inspired by the footprints left behind in muddy marshland, especially tidal marshes where the soft mud is washed clean with each tide and fresh foorprints appear twice a day, this print evokes images of watching birds scour the mud for food.  
 
It was created using soap (white) ground on aquatint printed on a beautiful Japanese washi paper with deckled edges.
